Dories for Adventure

Apprentices at Lowell’s Boat Shop are building two American-style dories for Gloucester’s flagship. A third dory to be build by CREST students under the direction of Harold Burnham at the Essex Shipbuilding Museum.

It’s on! This Winter, three dories are being built by students and apprentices at Lowell’s Boat Shop and the Essex Shipbuilding Museum for use in Adventure’s educational programs beginning next year. Boats built by students, for students. We couldn’t be more grateful.
