Yes, there is a Schooner Festival this year!

Join Us for the Event of the 2021 Season!
Schooner Adventure will again participate in the Gloucester Schooner Festival with a Labor Day weekend full of activities culminating in Sunday’s Parade of Sail and the Race for the Mayor’s Cup!

Friday, September 3: Greet the Fleet – Sail out with Adventure to greet the visiting Schooners,
from 2 pm – 5 pm. $35 Members/ $49 pp Adult Future Members

Saturday, September 4: Heritage Day – Visit the Adventure booth on Harriet Webster Pier for Heritage Day. Craft activities for children and a Doryfishing information station. Join us for a special Heritage Day Sail from 12 pm -3:00 pm. $35 Members/ $49 pp Adult Future Members,

Sunday, September 5: Parade & Race – Start off this festive day on board the Adventure leading the Parade of Sail. After lunch, Adventure will race for the Esperanto Cup in the Mayor’s Cup Race! Over 20 vessels will participate this year, with several in the large vessel class. Come see all the visiting schooners up close, and share in the camaraderie and competition!

Location: Harriett Webster Pier at Maritime Gloucester, 23 Harbor Loop
9:00 am Boarding, 10:00 am Parade of Sail, 1:00 pm Mayor’s Cup Race Start
Coffee and pastries, snacks, lunch, water, and soft drinks are provided (no alcohol is allowed while underway and racing.)
Plan to be on board for the full day with an estimated return to the dock around 5 pm. (approximate time of return)
$175 pp Captain’s Circle & Members/$225 pp Future Members
