2013 Gloucester Working Waterfront Walking Tours
Join Schooner Adventure for a stroll along Gloucester’s Working Waterfront to visit sites of the various maritime companies that use to occupy the harbor’s edge. By retracing old maps and looking at historic photos, we will go back in time to the late 1800′s and early 1900′s, the heyday of Gloucester’s fishing.
Tour starts at the Fisherman’s Statue and ends at the Fitz Henry (Hugh) Lane House on Harbor Loop.
Length: 90 Minutes (Wear comfortable shoes for walking.)
2013 Schedule (weather permitting)
10 am every other Saturday: 6/22, 7/6, 7/20. 8/3, 8/17, 8/31 (Schooner Festival), 9/14
Cost: $5 per person
Also offered free of charge during Trail and Sails on September 28
